Have you ever purchased something that you originally didn’t plan simply because it was on discount? Well, I’m guilty for often doing that thing, lolll. And this Lano-allover Golden Dry Skin Salve one of the stuff that I purchased impulsively simply because of the promotion, lol. I initially only want to purchase The original Lanolips, but impulsiveness win over my will, lol. And well, more stuff to be reviewed on this blog, yes? #justification.

This Lano-allover Golden Dry Skin Salve reminds me a lot of Vaseline petroleum jelly. However, they use Lanolin as their main ingredients, as what their name stands for. In terms of texture, this Allover Super Intense is far more occlusive and thick rather than the regular Lanolips 101 Ointment. Though I can totally use it for other body parts, I ended up using it the most as a lip balm because the texture is way too thick to be spread on arms and other dry parts of my body.

Well, I feel like it only locks the hydration from seeping through the air, not moisturize my skin from within, so I always feel like there’s a need to put a hand cream/body cream beforehand. Maybe it’s just what I feel because I’m not used to thick occlusive moisturizer as a hand cream, but I’ve carried this Lano-allover Golden Dry Skin Salve as my in-flight body care, and yeah it works well to avoid my skin from dry patches and works well as it is.

It smells like light vanilla scented which I really like. It moisturizes my lips pretty well, though I honestly prefer the original Lanolips 101 Ointment far better because the texture is more enjoyable.

Will I repurchase it? Well, probably not. Since the texture is pretty thick, I think it would last me for a long, long time, maybe a year or so. And I think I would prefer to purchase the lighter version of Lanolin Allover. I’ve tried the samples before, and the texture is more like a regular hand cream, which I think is more versatile than this one.

Well, have you tried this Lano Lanolips Allover Super Intense before? What do you think? Please kindly share your thoughts in the comment section below 🙂
