[REVIEW] STILA Glitter On the Go

Hello, everyone, it’s been a while, I know.๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜… But here I am, back with another review! So, I think I already told you how much I am converted into glitter addict (never been one before — until this year!) and surprise, surprise: this no-makeup makeup girl has been experimenting with different eye looks these days! ๐Ÿ™ˆ๐Ÿ™ˆ

And one of the reasons on why I’ve been experimenting with my eye looks is because I finally purchased this STILA Glitter On the Go that I’ve been eyeing for. I know, I’m a little bit late into this glitter game, but really, better late than never, am I right? ๐Ÿ˜‰ So, after experimenting, is this STILA Glitter & Glow Liquid Eye Shadowย worth the hype?

If you know me I mostly buy things after asking my friends thoughts about the product, of course after reading countless reviews regarding the products, and this STILA Glitter & Glow Liquid Eye Shadow was no exception. I know that I could never finish highlighter, let alone glitter eyeshadow. Therefore after lots ofย pondering (and lots of swatching in Mecca Maxima, lol) moreover after my friend told me that it would be better if I purchased lots of minis instead of just one full size, here I am with this [STILA Glitter & Glow Liquid Eye Shadow.

This is one of those products that will make you giddy and happy once you got it on your hands. The packaging is on point, it looks expensive without being too much, and the product. The product definitely delivers my expectation. A little goes a long way, and the texture and sparkles are on point. Well, no wonder everyone has been loving this product.

Remember my ABH Soft Glam review, especially the part where I raved about their glitter shadows? I think this STILA Glitter & Glow Liquid Eye Shadow is pretty much similar in result but they come in liquid forms. The particle is mixed, it has both small and big glitter particles, and to make it more fun, the eyeshadow colour on this is pretty much sheer, so you can definitely play it out with your eyeshadow palettes for a more interesting and playful look. With different tools, you also can use it as glitter eyeliners or aegyeosal glitters. My favorite way to use it? Definitely as eyeshadow topper! Or when I prefer to go save with my makeup looks, only on the inner corner of my eyes to brighten it up.

Well, I have to admit this product also has its weaknesses as well. First, it doesn’t last long on as eyeshadow toppers. After a few hours, your eyeshadow will go wee bit oily and then both the eyeshadow and glitter eyeshadow will crease. I even already use it with my Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer and use longlasting matte shadow underneath, but it still creased no matter what. I don’t know if it’s because I have oily lids in the first place, but I never experience eyeshadow creasing whenever I use UD Eyeshadow Primer before.

And then the other downside of this product is that it dries up pretty fast, and will flake off if you put other products n top of it. So you have to put it and blend it really fast. I also found that the applicator is way too big for detail application. But, since I have average eyeshadow brushes set on my hands, I never think that it’s such a bothersome. I also think that people that will purchase this product must have complete makeup set at their vanity, so I don’t think that it’s a big problem, lol.

Did I make a great decision regarding my purchase? Definitely yes! Especially when I purchased this set that comes with dusty rose shades that I really like! (They have different sets of minis). This product is definitely beautiful! It could instantly make your eye popped, definitely make you star of the day with the right makeup and overall looks! This product is not a necessity, of course, but if you love experimenting with your makeup, especially with your eye looks, this product is such a great investment. No wonder people have been raving about this product so much! It’s that pretty and good!
