[REVIEW] Bioré Makeup Remover Perfect Cleansing Water Smooth Bright Skin

Finally, another cleansing water review! I know, I know, cleansing water is not the ideal first cleanser because there are still lots of debate regarding if it would break your makeup and sunscreen completely or not. But I’m fortunate enough that my skin never breaks out whenever I treat cleansing water as first cleanser, and I love to use cleansing water whenever I’m in hurry or whenever I’m travelling because I think it’s hassle free.

However, if you are team #CleansingOilForTheWin, well, by all means keep doing you. Because I couldn’t dictate your routine and I know in skin care (and basically in everything in life, lol) your miles may vary. So what would work for me doesn’t mean that it would work for you and vice versa. I can’t guarantee that if you use micellar water as first cleanser that you would have same result and effect with me.

Ok, back to the Bioré Makeup Remover Perfect Cleansing Water Smooth Bright Skin review! I’m happy that these days a lot of Japanese brand started to expanded their lines to Indonesia. And when I spotted this particular cleansing water several months ago, of course I just have to grab it, lol. They carry two kinds of cleansing water, this one and the one for the oily skin. Since I have dry skin, I know that I would choose this one since I always avoid to dry my skin out.

It has no scent whatsoever, which is a good point for me. The thing that made me quite taken aback from this cleansing water is the price. For the same price with my favorite Garnier Oil Infused Micellar Water, that I really like, it only have half the amount of the Garnierone. But how it applies as makeup remover? Is it good enough to make up for the high price?

Sadly, this is another mediocre micellar water. It works just ehhhh—not really good at removing waterproof makeup, though it works just fine as sunscreen remover and base makeup remover. It’s slightly better than say, Maybelline Micellar Water, but of course it wouldn’t beat my favorite Garnier Micellar Water.

So, will I repurchase it?I have to say that no, I won’t. But it’s still worth the shot to try it though. Because I know that I would be curious unless I tried it on my own, lol. Well, have you try this Bioré Makeup Remover Perfect Cleansing Water Smooth Bright Skin? What do you think? Please do share your thoughts in the comment section below! 😉
