Another month, another empties! This month, I finished a lot of beloved products. 😥 Grown Alchemist Facial Oil and Aritaum Eyebrow Pencil to name a few. There’s a plenty of products that I haven’t reviewed before in this list, such as The Original Beauty Blender; why it didn’t make the cut for the full review and will I repurchase the product? Let’s get it started!
1. The Original Beauty Blender
I just clean up my vanity and I realized that I still have this beaten up Beauty Blender there. I think I was still keeping it for the sake of review and the dupe comparison that I always forget to write, loll. Well, this beauty blender is really good, but still, it’s pricey, and it’s only lasted me around 1-1,5 years at max. Won’t be repurchasing it unless for a really good deal because I think the new Innisfree Beauty Blender did the job pretty much the same with this one.
2.Bio Oil 200ml
Well, though I feel like this oil feels plasticky on my skin, it certainly does its job. I have major dryness in my elbow a couple months ago, and it really helps. However, for a regular daily usage, I still think that it’s pricey for the quality. I found a local made replacement for the body oil and I have to say that the replacement does a great job too!
3. Lee Gee Haam Grow Vita Propolis Ampoule
One of the most talked about propolis serum in K-beauty forum. Well, I have to say that I agree with Liah Yoo with this one. You would probably found another cheaper option with much bigger size *cough* Skinfood Propolis Serum *cough* that would work pretty much the same with this one. Will review the Skinfood one pretty soon!
4. Banila Co. Clean It Zero Original
My first love and probably my favorite cleansing balm so far. I have tried the purity one as well, and while I love them both, because I followed Fiddysnail’s Grits method and on that method she specifically said that it needs to have cleansing oil that contained mineral oil, therefore I think I would repurchase the original one over and over again. (Already repurchased the new one, tho!) 😉
5. Grown Alchemist Antioxidant+Facial Oil Burago, Rosehip & Buckthorn
Hands down my favorite beauty oil so far. I definitely didn’t regret purchasing it, though I was pretty much impulsive when I was purchasing it, lol. If you are into anti ageing, or have dry skin in general, I am pretty sure that you would love this facial oil because it’s just work really well in terms of plumping up the skin and give it instant glow.
6. The Saem Cover Perfection Tip Concealer
It is said to be Korean Dupes for NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer and I have to say that it’s not nearly the same. Won’t be repurchasing this no matter how cheap it is. Probably I’m biased because I love Maybelline Fit Me Concelaer so much but well… I personally think this Saem Concealer isn’t work well for my undereyes. It creases and dry for my skin.
7. The Body Shop Almond Hand & Nail Cream
Favorite hand cream from The Body Shop! In general I love every variant of Hand Cream from The Body Shop, especially when it’s pretty affordable and often in sale, lol. They work really well and moisturized my dry hands really, really well. I still have one stock in my vanity, though, so it’s safe to say that I will repurchase it over and over again.
8. Aritaum Eye Brow Pencil
Hands down my favorite eye brow pencil, ever! I even recommend it to all of my friends, lol! It is said to be the dupe of Shu Uemura Eye brow Pencil. At around $5, it worked really well at making natural eye brow look with the right amount of pigmentation and it lasted me around 2 years!!!! Will definitely repurchase it in the future, but as for now, I already purchased the Shu Uemura. Will review it in the future!
9. Maybelline Fit Me Concealer in 25 Medium
My go-to contour product ever since I’m running out of the Too Cool For School Art by Rodin Palette. I learnt from Ssin-nim that the easiest way to find your contour shade is by having 1-2 shades darker of concealer/foundation. This is definitely a foolproof yet affordable way to have your contour products! Love this method and products so much that I already repurchased this product, lol. It blends like heaven and appear to be natural! 🙂
10. Mustika Ratu Body Butter Tuberose & Shea Butter
I think I have reviewed this product a while ago in previous empties? Well, I really love this product because it moisturized my dry skin really well, and it’s affordable! In general I love all of the body products from this renowned local brand, and a lot people around me always compliment the scent whenever I use this particular product!
11. Papa Recipe Bombee Honey Mask
My favorite sheet mask to this date! This sheet mask could instantly boost my hydration and moisturization as well as make it lively again whenever I felt like my skin is less plump and tired. I think by now you will see this mask every month on my empties, lol. Read my full review regarding this mask here.
12. Innisfree Cotton Pads
I think by now you already bored that I keep talking about this cotton pads over and over again, lol. If you’re looking for a good, affordable cotton pads that you can purchase in Jakarta, please do me a favor and try this cotton pads!
Well, yeah, so far, these are my empties for this month! Do you spot any favorites? Please do share in the comment section below! 😉
