Empties Report: August 2018

Phew, it’s been another month already! And we’re half-way done with 2018 already. How August treating you last month? Good? Bad? Well, at least it already goes by. Cheer up everyone, it’s a brand new month, hopefully, September will be good for us. 😉

This time around, I kinda have a lot of empties to talk about, well, yeah, let’s get it started!

1. Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water

If I’m not mistaken, I purchased this one because I couldn’t find the oil infused version of this product when I travelled. Well, I guess it’s no longer a secret that I love to use Garnier Micellar Water (especially the oil infused one) for travelling purposes because of its simplicity. If I happened to purchase this particular cleansing water, I’m trying to avoid using waterproof makeup because I’m way too lazy to bring separate cleansing balm.

2. Mediheal Clear α Bio-cellulose Hyaluronic Acid Sheet Mask

Hands down, one of the best sheet mask that I’ve tried this year. Have I write a proper review about this product before? I don’t think so. Well, will definitely do write a separate review really, really soon!

3. Batiste Dry Shampoo Coconut & Exotic Tropical

My go-to dry shampoo with my favourite scent! If you like coconut scent, you must like this dry shampoo’s scent. To be honest, my hair is quite tricky to be treated after 3-4 days of shampoo, and dry shampoo is not enough (I’ve found my life changing hair products, though! Will reported it later!). But at least it helps to reduce oil in my hair and it smells amazing!

4. Armando Caruso Make Up Beauty Blender

I used to want to create a post that compares beauty blender and its dupes. But I keep forgetting, and forgetting, until this one of the dupes went bad, lol. Well, I have to say that this particular product is nowhere near the original Beauty Blender. In fact, ever since I’m in love with Innisfree Beauty Blender, I’ve never ever repurchased this beauty blender (and oh, the original one, too, lol, talking about cost-effective).

5. Nature Republic Soothing & Moisture Aloe Vera 92% Soothing Gel

The most talked about product of the year in my country, lol. Well, I have to say that it’s not bad, in fact, I also like it. The thing that I have to underline is, the fact that it’s not enough for your skin if you use it as a moisturizer, especially if you have dry skin. However, it’s a good product if you use it as a quick mask, as a hair mask, and as the first emergency if you burned from the sunlight.

6. Pyunkang Yul Essence Toner

Finally, I finished this product! Finally! Well, this is a pretty good product for me, however, it’s pretty basic and the adventurer side of me didn’t want to repurchase it since I need something more challenging, lol! Nevertheless, if you’re still new into skin care or want to have a decent hydrating toner or want to find a replacement for Hada Labo Gokyujun Premium, this product is definitely worth to try. Not to mention the pretty affordable price.

7. The Ordinary Caffeine Solution 5% + ECGC

Another product that I *finally* finished! Well… I have to say that though this product didn’t really impressed me in terms of result, we shouldn’t have any expectation towards eye cream / eye serum product, anyway. It’s a good thing though that this product is pretty hydrating AND really affordable. It lasted me around 8-9 months, so this is definitely one of the most affordable eye cream / serum in the market that worth to try.

8. Esfolio Milk Essence Mask Sheet

This was a gift from my friend that went to Seoul last March. Well, I never heard this brand before, and I’ve done a weebit research before writing this post and it turned out that Esfolio pretty much a Roadshop brand that shares the similar price point to Etude House and A’Pieu. It’s not that I don’t feel grateful to my friend, but I know from the packaging that it is one of those sheet mask that will have strong alcohol and fragrance scent, lol. And I’m not wrong. 😆 But the good news is, it didn’t made my skin reacted even though this sheet mask is not the most ideal one.

9. Leaders Soothing Control Mask

At this point, I couldn’t differentiate any Leaders sheet mask anymore, lol. They are pretty much the same. Maybe slightly different scent, but for overall result, sheet mask material, essence, and all, I think it is basically similar with other sheet mask variants.

10. Innisfree Cotton Pads

I guess I don’t have to talk about this cotton pads again since I talked about this product so often? Well, at the moment I think it’s one of the best cotton pads that I could purchase in Jakarta.

11. My Beauty Diary White Lily Brightening Essence Mask

Wrote a review about this mask already, and it’s definitely one of my favourite sheet mask from My Beauty Diary. It feels luxury whenever I got to apply this sheet mask on my skin! Love the material and essence. If you happened to find this on your local drugstore, grab it! It’s one of the reasonable priced good quality sheet mask that’s worth to try.

12. Innisfree Anti-Aging Mask Neck & Collarbone

One of the premium sheet mask line from Innisfree that targeted a specific place in your skin. It feels nice and definitely different in terms of the sheet mask texture and material, as well as the essence. Will write separate reviews regarding this mask in the future!

13. Silcot Uru Uru Cotton Pad

Nooooo! I didn’t realize that I’ve finished one of my HG cotton pads stocks already! Thank God I still have back up, lol. If you are new into my blog you wouldn’t probably know about this particular cotton pad that happened to be my HG, lol. Read my full review here to have any idea why I kept talking about it and even screamed a bit when I spotted it on Guardian Singapore, lol.

Well, that’s about it for now. Do you spot any favourites here? Or do you have anything to recommend for me? Do tell me in the comment section below!
