[REVIEW] Grown Alchemist Antioxidant+ Facial Oil: Borago, Rosehip & Buckthorn Berry

I know that ever since I discovered facial oil, I basically swear by it and can’t live without it. However, I just can’t lie that after trying and tested a lot of oil in the market by now, I actually could detect which one better than which, and honestly, the one that really impressed me this year is only Huxley Light and More Oil. That until I found the one that successfully defeats all of the facial oil that I’ve ever tried — yes even the Trilogy one — which is this unexpected lovely Grown Alchemist Antioxidant+ Facial Oil: Borago, Rosehip & Buckthorn Berry.

The very first impression with this oil is the fact that it really feels luxurious. It’s adsorbed really fast into the skin, smells like a spa, plumps up my skin like a charm, just the whole thing feels luxury to me. One thing for sure though, it makes all of the skincare that I put underneath it works better. But it’s not just good on its own, but it also helps to boost the benefits of other skin care that I put on the skin.

The texture is not that light, but as I mentioned before, it sinks into the skin in no time, and it comes with a slight tint brown-ish color. Well, this is a concoction of Rosehip Oil and sea-buckthorn berry, Sweet Almond Oil, rice bran, borago, and Cranberry seed oil so I guess the colour comes from a little bit of this and that from the ingredients. Given the fact that both Huxley Light and More Oil and this Grown Alchemist Antioxidant+ Facial Oil: Borago, Rosehip & Buckthorn Berry are both oil blends, I guess that my skin nowadays prefers oil blend rather than single ingredients facial oil.

Will I recommend it to anyone? Well, yes, definitely! I think it’s safe to say that it’s basically a facial oil that would work for anyone, both oily and dry skin. I highly suggest this oil for anyone that looking for anti ageing treatment since the ingredients are very good for anti ageing properties. The only downside to this oil is the fact that it’s pretty pricey, Thank God I got that Grown Alchemist promo set back then… So, if you happened to live in Australia or New Zealand and been eyeing for this product, just make sure that you purchase it during promo time! Lol.

So, have you tried this oil? Or do you have any recommendation for me? Please tell me in the comment section bellow! 😉
