[REVIEW] Sukin Certified Organic Rose Hip Oil

When I went to Australia earlier this year, everyone been asking me, “Is Sukin products good?”. Well, of course since it’s Australian brand, their products are practically everywhere, very easy to find, especially in any drugstore. However, since I just trying out this Sukin Certified Organic Rose Hip Oil just then, I didn’t want to purchase anything from them back then, because I’m not really sure how I feel about this brand. But, I’ve already finished this product already, so here it is: my full thoughts of Sukin Certified Organic Rose Hip Oil!

Our Certified Organic Rosehip Oil contains no less than 70% essential fatty acids and has vitamins to help soothe, soften and hydrate the skin. These nourishing properties help to reduce the appearance of scars and combat the signs of ageing.

This unique oil feeds the skin nutrients, and can be used regularly to help relieve redness due to dry/itchy skin and help maintain optimal skin health. Our fast absorbing oil leaves skin looking and feeling radiant and healthy.

Suitable for Dry & Distressed Skin Types.

Rosa Eglantaria (Rosehip) Oil

Just like other rosehip oil product, this Sukin Certified Organic Rose Hip Oil also comes with that distinctive fishy smell of rosehip oil. I already get used to it by now, lol, so I didn’t find it bothering me. It comes with yellowish in colour, rather thick texture, and in terms of absorbing, I have to say that it’s pretty moderate, not fast absorbing like they claimed it to be. Perhaps because of Indonesian humid weather, but it did absorb much faster back in Sydney cold weather.

It definitely works for trapping all of your skincare underneath, however, I don’t feel like it gives me something notable; something special that stands up more than the other skincare that I put together with this product in my routine. Well, yeah, it’s definitely much cheaper than Trilogy oil, but I think there’s a couple of other oil that works much better than this oil with similar price point; like say The Ordinary 100% Cold Pressed Marula Oil.

If you followed my blog for the past year, you might already notice that I’m head over heels with facial oils, even claimed it to be my holy grail products. Well, I won’t take back my words; however, after trying out a lot of facial oils over the year, there’s definitely a couple products that I prefer more than the others. And I have to say that this product leaned into “okay” product for me. It’s okay, but it’s not that good that made me want to repurchase it.

Nevertheless, I don’t know, perhaps that’s just me. Do you ever try this product? What do you think? Please do share with me in the comment section bellow! 🙂
