This particular product went viral a couple of years ago. The “corset for the face” said to be the thing and life changing product for dewy skin lover. It would magically lift your skin and also, it happened to lengthen your makeup as it is also can be used as makeup primer. At first I wasn’t really interested in this product. However since my friend keep raving about this product, I couldn’t help but ordering this J.One Jelly Pack rightaway, lol. Since I know how my routine is gonna be, I only purchased the smaller size since it takes me ages to finish one tiny primer (yeah, I haven’t finish that MUFE Primer… ugh)
From Glow Recipe & Sephora:
A great multi-tasker that firms skin, hydrates, and ‘grips’ makeup all in one for a flawless, plump complexion.
How it works:
Created by Ha Jiwon, popular Korean actress and K-beauty trendsetter, the J.One Jelly Pack is a multi-tasking one step that condenses your morning skincare routine. The unique jelly texture melts into the skin with gentle patting, creating an ultra smooth canvas for flawless makeup application. Fragmented hyaluronic acid deeply hydrates while fullerene acts as an “oxygen magnet” to brighten complexion. The makeup gripping properties also helps the silky smooth application of any foundation or sunscreen used afterwards. The Jelly Pack is also nicknamed the ‘corset mask’ for its instantly tensing and firming effect. Read our J.One Jelly Pack review on our blog.

If you happened to know the Multipurpose Adhesive Brand UHU, the texture is exactly like that, loll. At first, I found that the sticky texture is pretty hard to spread into the face, nevertheless I’m getting used to it by now. You have to make sure that you apply it upwards way of your skin, though, since the sticky texture would lift up your skin. You don’t want to make your skin soggy by applying it downwards, right?
Well… my very first impression with this J.One Jelly Pack is pretty much meh. I don’t found it to be superior and doing anything for me. However, after a really long day of work where I have to be in truck container, and went to meet my client by bike, my client that aging wonderfully (she’s very pretty, I want to grow old like her, lol), suddenly asked me, “What do you do to your skin? What stuff that you put into your skin?” and compliment my skin. There’s nothing different that I use that day except for this product. Well, then yeah, I’m sold. So, this product happened to make my skin look gewd! Even if I don’t realized it, at least people realized it, lol!
Now that I already use it for a couple months, I can see that it helps to make my skin to be looking like glass skin, like that current K-beauty trends. I bet all of the dewy skin lovers would love this product. As a primer, I really like this product since the ingredients leans more into the skin care side instead of makeup, so if you love skin care infused makeup, I think you would love it too.
I don’t think that it would lengthen my makeup per se, however, it certainly would help to hold my make up better and give it more flawless look; as I said before, glassy skin. So is it worth the hype? I think yes, however, I don’t think that I’d like to use it every single day since I found it to be a bit suffocating for my skin. And since almost all of my foundation have dewy finish, I think it makes several of my foundation looking to ‘wet’. Therefore, even if I love a certain factor of this product, I don’t think that I want to repurchase it in near future.
