This Grown Alchemist Olive Leaf & Plantago Extract Facial Cream Cleanser is honestly my first second cleanser in the form of cream. At first, I thought that it would be first cleanser that would need to be wiped off, but it turned out that it is a second cleanser! And again, to my surprise, I didn’t find it odd at all. It cleanse my skin really well without stripping it, and the texture is just so lush!

The texture of this cleanser is this smooth cream that’s almost unscented. It won’t lathered up if we mix it with water, but lo and behold, it would still cleanse your face wonderfully and it’s pretty hydrating as well. I love how soft and supple my skin whenever I use this cream cleanser. It won’t leave any residue even if you use cleansing oil / balm beforehand, which I very much like from this cleanser!

I know that Caroline Hirons seems to hate this cleanser because it’s irritate her skin, but if you happened to find this cleanser, please do me a favor and try it first, because in skin care, your mileage may vary and you wouldn’t know unless you try it by yourself if a product is suitable for your skin or not. Well, as for me? Without a doubt, I really love it! I love it so much that now I have to rotate it with the much much cheaper Dove Facial Wash so it won’t run out fast, lol.

As for the packaging, it’s Grown Alchemist, fellas, you know that they would killing it. I like the approachment of this androgyny / genderless skin care; similar to Aesop, etc. Therefore, both men and women could pick up the product without hesitating that this product is too girly or too manly! 😆

If I happened to find it on sale, of course I would repurchase this Grown Alchemist Olive Leaf & Plantago Extract Facial Cream Cleanser rightaway! However, since its original price is freaking $49 (I got it with huge discount), and run out pretty quickly, not to mention that Grown Alchemist haven’t officially open in Indonesia yet, I don’t think that I would repurchase it in near future. Well, in the mean time, let me enjoy it in rotation with my cheapo cleanser! ;-P
