I think since I have dry and dehydrated skin, hydrating toner is one of the product that became essential in my routine. I can’t lie that one of the product that became life saviour to my skin during my trial and error days 3 years ago is Hada Labo Gokyujun Light Lotion, which is a hydrating toner. Having tried and tested lots of hydrating toner afterwards, now I’m going to talk about the much loved hydrating toner in K-beauty community for the last couple of years thanks to Glow Recipe, which is the Whamisa Organic Flowers Deep Rich Essence Toner.
From Glow Recipe:

This hydrating toner reminds me a lot of Hanyul Rice Essential Skin Softner. They both have this rather thick texture that’s easy to absorb into the skin, they both instantly plumped up the skin; however I don’t really like the fact that both of them have these really strong fragrance. I know that this Whamisa Organic Flowers Deep Rich Essence Toner listed they fragrance last in the ingredients list; however for my sensitive nose, the scent is just unbearably overwhelming. I think this is a matter of personal preference, since my friend said that the fragrance reminded her of spa-like scents.
Well, in terms of performance and texture, I have to say that it really up to its hypes. It does makes your skin plumped up, well hydrated, and bouncy. Similar with the Hanyul one, this hydrating toner also comes with fermented ingredients, which you might want to stay out if you are allergic to it. Filled with lots of natural and well packed ingredients, your skin would definitely received lots of benefit from it.
I know that Glow Recipe and every K-beauty influencers highly recommends to do 7 Skin Method with it, however, because I’m really sensitive to its perfumey fragrance, I can’t do it, the maximum layer that I can do with this hydrating toner is probably up to 3 layers. If you love the fragrance and all, I think you should do 7 Skin Method with it since everyone raves about it.
Well, overall, I think you can guess that I wouldn’t repurchase this hydrating toner because I’m not the biggest fan of the scent. No matter how good it is, I can’t deny that the fragrance made me keep hesitant to use this product. Nevertheless, it is a pretty good product, with chic branding and glass packaging, with fair price. If you are not sensitive to perfumey fragrance, I highly recommend you to try this Whamisa Organic Flowers Deep Rich Essence Toner as I’m pretty sure that it would benefits all of skin types.
So, have you tried this essence before? What do think of it? Let me know in the comment section bellow! 😉
