Remember how I gushing about the regular Garnier Micellar Water a while ago because it’s just so cost effective and cleanse my skin better than my beloved Bioderma Sensibio H2O? Well, I think now I find an even better one, which is from the same brand, Garnier, it is the Garnier Micellar Oil-Infused Cleansing Water.
Is Garnier Micellar Oil-Infused Cleansing Water Right For Me?
Yes, if you are looking for an efficient, yet gentle cleanser that removes all make-up (even waterproof), impurities and dirt and leaves skin feeling nourished. Suitable even for dry, sensitive skin.
Why Is It Different?
Micellar Oil-Infused Cleansing Water is an easy way to remove even waterproof make-up, and cleanse and nourish the feel of skin, in 1 step without rinsing.
How Does It Work?
For the 1st time Garnier Micellar technology is formulated with oils. The micelles (cleansing agents) capture impurities like a magnet & lift away dirt from the skin, whilst the oils instantly dissolve all types of make-up.
Perfectly cleansed, nourished feeling skin without rubbing or rinsing.
This Garnier Micellar Oil-Infused Cleansing Water really blew me away even from the first application! It removes all of my waterproof makeup, even the K-Palette eyeliner in blackest black that always tend to leave stain on my lids. I just leave cotton pad soaked with this Oil-Infused Cleansing Water for a few minutes, et voilà! Everything’s removed!!
Though there are oil on it, this cleansing water is still light and not heavy for removing makeup. At certain point, I think this cleansing water is pretty decent for eye remover only, but I think it’s also effective to remove sunscreen and everything so this is probably a perfect first cleanser if you don’t want to commit to oil / balm cleanser type. Since I usually have three cleansing step if I’m not travelling, I think this is perfect for travelling first cleanser!
Would I recommend it to everyone? Definitely! It’s not just perfect for travelling, or for those lazy days, I think this is also perfect first cleanser for skin care beginner that don’t want to commit to proper first cleanser such as oil and balm cleanser. It’s literally removes everything! So if you have doubt if micellar water removes sunscreen, I’m pretty sure that this oil infused one will removes sunscreen.
However, you would still need second cleanser a.k.a regular foaming cleanser since every skin care addicts would know that micellar water is not a proper cleanser. No matter how good it is, it is still a first cleanser, and you can’t skip second cleanser no matter how they marketed it to be ‘without rinsing’.
