This Nivea Make Up Clear Micellar Water is my latest quest of finding the best affordable micellar water in the market. To be honest, at first I didn’t really interested on this particular micellar water, but since I found out that it is available on the supermarket where I always go for monthly grocery shopping for my family, I decided to give it a try. Who knows if it’s good? It’s affordable, I think it has the same price as the Garnier one if I’m not mistaken, and it will be easier for me to stocked it up every month!

I feel like this product has the thinnest consistency, the most watery in texture compare to other micellar water that I’ve tried. It’s not necessarily a bad thing I might say, since this micellar water is definitely work better than a couple of affordable micellar water that I’ve tried. It works pretty similar with the Maybelline Micellar Water but with a far far much affordable price. It removes my base makeup and non-waterproof makeup really well, but it couldn’t really remove my waterproof makeup.
As we could see above, I need more than one swipe to removes all the makeup. I even didn’t put any waterproof makeup to the test. I definitely need more cotton pads to remove all of my makeup in comparison to Garnier and Bioderma, but I personally don’t find it to be a problem since it’s not much a hassle, it’s easier for me to repurchase it, and I found it to be even more affordable than the Garnier one if we count the price per volume.
So, would I repurchase it? Definitely! It works pretty well on me and I recommend it to everyone. Even if I still found that the best micellar water overall is the Bioderma and the best one from drugstore is still the Garnier one, as I’ve said before, this Nivea Make Up Clear Micellar Water is cheaper in price, never irritate my skin, and cleanse my makeup really well; even if it couldn’t remove waterproof makeup, most of micellar water couldn’t remove it anyway, so I don’t found it to be a problem.
However, if you want a micellar water that will clean makeup squeaky clean, and you don’t bother to have a separate eye makeup remover, I suggest you to buy the Garnier one instead. Since it would removes every bits of makeup on your skin and comes with a pretty similar price range.
