Empties Report: December 2017

I’m so sorry for this super late post! I should’ve post it at the end of December :”) . Well, this is it: my last empties on 2017. Lots of beauty finds that I really love that I definitely will repurchase in the future, a few mediocre stuffs, but I think I don’t have anything disappointing on last December. So, without further ado, here’s my beauty empties for December 2017!IMG_5846

1. SK-II Clear Lotion (Sample size)

I honestly forgot if this is contained the real SK-II Clear Lotion or I already replace it with my another HG toner; which is the Menard Tsukika. However, it goes without saying that I really really love both of them. If only SK-II Clear Lotion doesn’t have a crazy expensive price, I would probably repurchase it over and over again. This toner is one of the main product that help me in order to combat dehydrated skin and a massive breakouts. Love it even more than its FTE! (P.S: Definitely will keep the bottle as it is really travel friendly!)

2. L’Oreal Micellar Water

I honestly forgot how much is the price of this micellar water, and when I checked it on drugstore sometime ago, I was really surprised that this Micellar Water is pretty expensive! Well, not Bioderma expensive, but this priced at approximately $13~14 while the Garnier one is definitely much much cheaper and work way more effectively than this L’Oreal one. Though it’s not entirely bad since it still do its job properly, but I think I would repurchase the Garnier one instead.

3. The Ordinary 100% Cold Pressed Virgin Marula Oil

My favorite product from The Ordinary by far! And it’s definitely one of my favorite beauty oil ever, maybe ranked slightly below my HG Trilogy Rosehip Oil. It’s really wonderful, almost scentless, pretty lightweight if I’m going to compare it with other oil, yet delivers with a punch of goodness and hydration. I’m in love! Definitely will repurchase it someday!

4. SK-II Facial Treatment Essence

My verrrry last bit to the most famous SK-II Facial Treatment Essence. I forgot why I didn’t finish it, lol, perhaps I want to compare it to another first essences that I’ve tried through out the year. And I found that my skin definitely prefer first essence with thicker consistency like Hanyul Optimizing Serum and COSRX Galactomyces 95 Whitening Power Essence rather than the watery one like this SK-II one and the Menard one. It’s not bad, but for my personal preference, the gel like consistency definitely work way more effectively on my skin.

5. Innisfree Cotton Pads

The closest dupe of my long love, the Silcot Uru Uru Cotton! This cotton pad maybe not as wonderful as the Silcot one, but for me, this cotton is definitely above any of Muji cotton. It’s pretty affordable, soft, plushy, and much more easier to get than the Silcot one! Repurchase? Well, as for now, I already have 4 stocks of this cotton on my vanity! 😉

6. Dove Moisturizing Facial Wash

Affordable facial wash that I keep repurchase because it’s much more easier to access it rather than the Hada Labo one, lol. Well, not only affordable, it’s basically works as good as the Hada Labo Gokyujun Facial Wash on me. Non-stripping, non-drying, and affordable; what’s not to love?

7. Benefit Roller Lash

This mascara lasted me quite a while. I know, that we supposed to use mascara up to 6 month, but as for me, as long as it’s not smells weird, not irritated my eyes, and not dried up yet, I would keep using it, lol. This mascara is definitely as good as my HG Heroine Make Long & Curl, but still pretty good. Though I have to say that I love the packaging even more than the formula itself, lol. 😆 Won’t repurchase it because of the price, but still, it’s a pretty good mascara.

8. 3 Concept Eyes Eye Brightener in Rosy Beige

Back in the day, around 2015, this is probably the first YSL Touch Éclat’s dupe. Well, that’s how old this stuff on my vanity, lol. This is not my preferable concealer if I might say so, and I basically only use it for a couple of times, and when I sorted out my makeup vanity several days ago, I decided to throw it away because, obviously it’s already expired, isn’t it?! Lol.

9. Bioderma Sensibio H2O

My HG Micellar Water. Maybe because I found that the Garnier one works even better and have more affordable price, I wouldn’t repurchase this in near future, however, if not for the price, this is definitely still my favorite Micellar Water ever even if it didn’t remove waterproof makeup. I would definitely repurchase it someday, but not in the near future.

10. L’Oreal Revitalift Laser X3 Eye Cream

An okay eye cream, and surprisingly lasted quite a long time on me (around 3 months!) However, since it’s just mediocre and if I’m going to count the price per ml, I think the Innisfree ECO Science Eye Cream is still cheaper than this L’Oreal one, and it lasted me around 6 months. So… definitely won’t repurchase it.

11. Dolly Wink Liquid Eyeliner in Deep Black

Used to be my HG, and as far as I remember, it’s already dried up from last year, lol. Maybe I forgot to throw it away, hence the reason why I still found it on my vanity during the cleaning day. Dolly Wink and K-Palette honestly ranked about the same for me, they are both above any western brand eyeliner, but if I’m going to choose for the best Japanese eyeliner right now, I would definitely choose the Flow Fushi Mote Liner.

12. Muji Cotton Puff

Used to be my easy-to-find preferable cotton puff before the Innisfree one. It’s still good, far beyond local cotton puff, as in not as ‘scratchy’ as the other cotton, soft, and not soaked up lots of product, but I still found that I prefer the Innisfree one for one reason or another. Similar with the Bioderma, perhaps I would someday repurchase it, but not in the near future.

13. Menard Lisciare Washing Cream (sample size)

Not my preferable facial wash, which come to a surprise for me personally, because I think I will love anything from Menard. It is quite drying for my taste, though it foams up nicely and cleanse face really well. Thank God that I got the sample for free, though, since the full price is quite pricey, so I don’t have to purchase the full size in order to try it first.

14. Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet in Nude-ist

Used to be my HG MLBB shade, that until I use it everyday and eventually it dries up and expired, lol. The formula is really nice and not drying. However, since I already try lots of liquid lipstick after my Rouge Edition Velvet craze era, I don’t think that I would turned back, since I already found another much affordable liquid lipstick with better formula: The BLP Beauty Lip Coat, which I always recommend to everyone. ❤

15. Heroine Make Eye Makeup Remover

One of the most “strongest” eye makeup remover that I’ve ever tried because it would remove anything. Like really, anything, especially its really-hard-to-remove-super-waterproof Heroine Make Long and Curl Mascara. It never irritate my eyes also. This eye makeup remover reminds me of the Bioré Eye Makeup Remover that I’ve tried and loved a couple of years ago, in terms of performance and overall price. Sadly both of this remover are really hard to find in Jakarta these days… *sigh*

16. Hada Labo Gokyujun Ultimate Facial Wash (Travel Size)

What I love about Japanese brand is the fact that they always sold travel size skin care that would make us easier to travel, without the need to depot our skin care to smaller bottle. One of the reason that I purchase this is because of the travel needs. However, I guess it’s no longer a secret that I love this facial wash so much since it’s not drying and not stripping out my skin, and just work properly as a facial cleanser, plus it’s affordable!

    1. Yeah Silcot cotton is so good isn’t it?! How I missed it already, lol. Well, the innisfree one is not as good as the Silcot one obviously, but it is indeed better than other cotton that I could get on my hometown 🙂
