Ugh, finally my stock of Japanese liners that I stocked up on my last visit to Japan finally out! This is my last Japanese liners *sigh* and now, since I don’t have the access to purchase mine to Japan yet, I have to bear with ridiculous markups of Japanese liners here in Indonesia…. *major sigh*

Maybe because it’s been a while since I use a K-Palatte eyeliner, and my last eyeliner that I use is the Maybelline one, I feel like this eyeliner has a very thin tip that would help me to achieve the most precise application of eye cat look. I don’t know if it’s just me, but I feel like the brush tip is way more thinner and precise than my previous K-Palatte eyeliners.
I have no complain on the longevity and the application, though, because K-Palatte is definitely one of my favorite eyeliner ever, maybe sliiiiightly bellow Flow Fushi Mote Liner. Here’s the reason why:
While I have no doubt regarding the staying power, the pigmentation, and the overall application, this particular K-Palette eyeliner is different in terms of removal than the other K-Palette eyeliners that I’ve tried in the past. Both the special edition Alice in Wonderland in Brown Black and The Super Black Eyeliner are super easy to remove, though they both have the same problem: after a long day, they will smudge a bit in my outer corner of eyes. Even if this Natural Black one is better at longevity, however, it would leave this tinted marks of the previous application of eyeliner, even after I remove it with waterproof eye makeup removal.
I seriously have to triple cleanse my eye area with both oil based cleanser and foaming cleanser afterwards to clean it completely, while I have no problem in removal of the previous K-Palette that I’ve tried in the past. I personally never had any problem with eyeliner removal in the past though, the only thing that usually stubborn upon removal is my Heroine Make Long & Curl Mascara. And while this remover removes the Heroine Mascara really well, it couldn’t remove the K-Palatte 1 Day Tattoo Real Lasting Eyeliner in Natural Black completely, which is saying something, I guess.
Will I repurchase it? I will definitely repurchase other K-Palette eyeliner, just not this particular Natural Black one, because I can’t stand the hard-to-remove factor, I might as well use other Japanese eyeliner like the Mote Liner and the Dolly Wink one because of they are really easy to remove. Even the K-Palette Super Black and the Brown Black one also easy to remove! So I would probably purchase those shades instead of the Natural Black K-Palatte 1 Day Tattoo Real Lasting Eyeliner in Natural Black one.
Nevertheless, this eyeliner is definitely on top of my list in terms of staying power, so I will use it up until it dries out, especially when I know that I will have a long day forwards.
Do you ever experience the same thing with me, regarding the hard to remove eyeliner? Is it also because of this particular K-Palatte 1 Day Tattoo Real Lasting Eyeliner in Natural Black? Or other eyeliner brand? Do share your experiences in the comment section bellow! 🙂
