This, together with the Laneige Lavender Sleeping Mask, are a few of the most exciting things this year from Laneige. I’m a fan of Laneige Sleeping Mask line, though I’m not interested of their other lines yet, I just can’t skip this Laneige Eye Sleeping Mask! Especially when I decided to purchase this one, I just running out of my eye cream. What a fate, right, what a fate! 🙂
(Okay, another way to justified my skin care shopping).

Another new technology from Korean beauty products that seems so gimmicky yet so interesting. I usually back out from gimmicky stuff, however, since this stuff comes with Laneige Sleeping Mask line, I’m just sold. I’m a fan of face massage myself since it really help to reduce bloating face and puffy eyes, and when I saw that this product comes with the same principle with massaging device that used to be hyped up in Japan and Korea for the past couple of years, I become more interested and curious as I’ve never tried those massaging device yet since they usually comes with a hefty price tag. Well, I do have Foreo Luna, but, I don’t know, I kinda prefer to use it as cleansing device instead of massaging device, I guess.
Well, that being said, I finally purchased this Laneige Sleeping Mask and I found that the applicator really does help to reduce puffy eyes. The ceramic ball always, always feels cold when in contact on my eye area. Well, I have to say that if you always so diligent with face and eye massage everyday, with device or just with your hands during cleansing oil step / other routine steps; this Laneige Sleeping Mask give you exactly the same result with the usual eye massage, I would say.
However, if you are always in hurry with your routine and never have a time for face massaging, this Laneige Eye Sleeping Mask could make your work easier by applying the applicator et voila, no puffy eyes in the next morning! As for the actual product, I was expecting a thicker consistency, to be honest. It comes with pretty thin consistency if I’m going to compare it to other eye creams that I’ve tried, but it’s a little bit thicker than Laneige Sleeping Mask. I don’t know if the eye sleeping mask would work that good without the applicator, but I found that the combination of those two definitely help me to reduce puffy eyes in the morning, especially during sleepless nights.
However, the thing is, if you expecting that this Laneige Special Care Eye Sleeping Mask would brighten your dark undereyes, no, it won’t help you on that department. Well, it does contain brightening ingredients, but, if a brightening product exposed to the air, it won’t work that good, and so does this Laneige Eye Sleeping Mask. If you’re looking for a great product to reduce puffy eyes, well, yes, it’s a great product for you.
Nevertheless, you need to remember that you definitely can’t rely on this product if you’re constantly stay up all night and not have enough sleep everyday. If you live like that, you would still suffer from puffy eyes (yeah, been there), or worse, you will have a permanent eye bags (nooo!).
Is this product worth to purchase? Well, I do think so, because, for the price, it’s definitely a pretty affordable breakthrough beauty product. It’s not that expensive, but not too affordable either, it’s just okay, like other Laneige stuff.
