Because cleansing products are the fastest product that I empty if I’m going to compare it with my other skin care items in my cabinet. Moreover, I sometimes think that Bioderma Sensibio H2O is getting more expensive these days… šŸ˜„ Therefore, to find a good dupe to my favorite micellar water, is always a good thing. So, is thisĀ Maybelline Micellar Water is a better option to the Garnier Micellar Water? Let’s take a look!

As for the packaging, I would say that I prefer this one more than the Garnier one. It looks super chic with its box shape, though I kinda wonder why every micellar water always comes with pink and blue packaging, they are probably way too inspired with the Bioderma one, lol.

Texture wise, thisĀ Maybelline Micellar Water it’s like other micellar water, and didn’t have oil layer like the Garnier one. It didn’t have any fragrance and alcohol either, which is always nice, especially for sensitive skin. However, though, I don’t find that it removes waterproof makeup as well as the Garnier Micellar Water. Even with regular makeup, I always find myself to reach more cotton pads in order to completely remove my make up whenever I use thisĀ Maybelline Micellar Water.

And I think Garnier is slightly more affordable than the Maybelline one, so, as for now I think I prefer the Garnier one better because the ability of removing my waterproof eye makeup, and because of the friendlier price tag. Will I ditch Bioderma completely? Well… probably no. But if you want to try micellar water and can’t stand the pricetag that Bioderma have, I think both Maybelline and Garnier are pretty good, though if you wear more waterproof makeup, I would suggest you to buy the Garnier one instead.
