My Top 3 Favorite Night Creams

These days I rarely wear straight up moisturizer on day time. Mostly because I already add enough layers of hydration and oil, and I feel like my sunscreen also give me enough moisture. Moreover, I can’t forget how humid my country is. Even though I have dry skin, since I prefer dewy, non-drying makeup, I don’t need to give my skin extra greasiness on day time.

But for the PM routine, that’s a whole different story. The more moisturizing my night cream, the happier my skin is. But, not all thick cream suited my skin type, and not all “lighter” cream are not moisturizing enough for my skin. So, without further ado, let’s take a look at my favorite night creams!

3. Laneige Water Sleeping Mask

At the beginning when I first use this product, I really don’t get the hype. What is so special about this sleeping mask? And finally, after 4 months neglecting this product in my vanity, I finally give this a try again. And guess what? I love it. So, my personal tips with this sleeping mask is to put tons of it in one application, especially if you have dry skin like mine. I personally love the scent and find it calming (though, there are lots of people that find it fishy). I also find it to help calming my pimple and help to plump up my skin the next day. Though you need to limit the use for just 3-4 per week because the result won’t be as good if you use it everyday.

2. Hada Labo Perfect 3D Gel

My most repurchased moisturizer to date. This gel consistency moisturizer is light, but it’s perfect for my dry skin because whenever I put this on my skin, I feel like I just got a fresh splash of water on my face. Fresh, while moisturizing and hydrating at the same time. Plus, the Perfect 3D Gel have this technology that could help to lift your skin, so you will get anti aging benefits. Maybe it’s not longer a secret that I’m a fan of Hada Labo, especially their Gokyujun Line, because really, their skin care is just works on me, easy to get in any drug store, plus come with an affordable price! Recommended.

1.Banila Co. Miss Flower & Mr. Honey Cream

Oh, those luscious, honey scented balm type night cream that I missed! Though this is probably the most expensive moisturizer that I’ve ever tried, I’ve never regret to buy this night cream. Not now, not ever. This occlusive type of night cream is basically too good to be true. I love the formulation that thick enough to avoid any hydration to seeps out of my skin, yet with the right consistency to be nicely spreadable and give many benefits to my skin with its royal jelly, honey, and niacinamide.

So, here’s my Top 3 Favorite Night Cream! Please do keep in mind that though the title of the product is not purposed as night cream, some as sleeping mask, and some can be used as day cream as well, since I’ve always use them as night cream, hence the reason why I choose them as my favorite night cream. Therefore, feel free if you want to use it as day cream! In fact, if you live in drier area or during winter, I think they will do a fabulous job as a day cream!
