There are days where I want to go foolproof with my lipstick. Days when I’m way too lazy to apply my matte lipstick precisely, even lazier to put lip gradation look. So, on those days, I usually reached out to lip tint or light lip gloss like this Bourjois Rouge Edition Aqua Laque that would give me natural look without the need to be touched up precisely through out the day.

The thing that I noticed the first time I got this Bourjois Rouge Edition Aqua Laque, is the fact that it smells yummy, like a dessert! I usually bothered with fragranced on skin care, but on lip products, as long as it didn’t smell artificial, I’m okay with it. This lip gloss is lightly pigmented, which in my opinion the thing that make it foolproof. I mean, if it’s highly pigmented, you really have to be precise during application and be very careful so that the lipgloss won’t get feathered out or anything.

It comes with regular doe foot applicator and similar packaging with Bourjois Rouge Velvet, only with shinier finish, probably to matched its “Aqua Laque” title.

I honestly is not the biggest fan of lipgloss, and I think I only have two or three of them in my vanity. Because sometimes I think lipgloss is just too much for everyday look. However, though, this Bourjois Rouge Edition Aqua Laque is not went overboard with its gloss, it’s still wearable for everyday look, and still looked natural enough that I often bring it in my makeup pouch.

So, overall, I think this Bourjois Rouge Edition Aqua Laque is a pretty good lip gloss if you’re not into super shiny lipgloss and more into natural look. Smells wonderful, have the right amount of pigment for a lip gloss, fool proof, easy to reapply, pretty affordable, so, what’s not to love? However, if you are a fan of highly pigmented lip gloss like Anastasia or Kylie lipgloss, I’m afraid that you will be disappointed with this one, so I suggest you to skip it. But, for any No-makeup-Makeup Look Fan, this is probably going to be one of your favorite things!
