I know that there are a lot of arguments regarding eye cream, and honestly speaking I am still confused on choosing the ‘side’ I’m on, because while I don’t see any direct benefits from eye cream, I also need it for moisturize my eye area because I have a very dry under eye and I suspect that I had a genetically dark under eye, so I probably gave up by now on finding the perfect eye cream to reduce my dark under eye.
So, I think by now I will only want to try drugstore eye cream first before heading to another pricey eye cream because I just doubt that it would be that well because of my meh IOPE eye cream experience, lol. Therefore, this time around I will talk about one of drugstore option for eye cream; which is the L’OREAL PARIS Revitalift Laser X3 Anti-Ageing Power Eye Cream.
This isn’t a laser treatment but it is an incredibly powerful anti-ageing eye cream that corrects wrinkles, reduces eye bags and firms your skin around the eye area.
L’Oréal Paris Revitalift Laser X3 Eye Cream offers intense, in-depth anti-ageing with active ingredients of pro-xylane (concentrated to 3 per cent), fragmented hyaluronic acid and caffeine. The fluid, fresh texture glides on easily. The cream comes with a metal applicator that cools the eyes as the cream is applied. Revitalift Laser X3 Eye Cream works to correct signs of ageing in the delicate eye area. It works to improve the appearance of wrinkles, under-eye bags, while it works to re-firm the skin and stimulate microcirculation. After applying serum, wait a few moments and apply the eye cream.
This eye cream has those kind of metal applicator that would help to reduce puffiness. This is probably my first encounter with such applicator, but because I’ve been testing products here and there in drugstore, why I feel like this is not my first encounter? Lol. That being said, if you have puffy eyes, I think this would definitely help your puffiness. It’s like an easier and portable cold spoon for eyes treatment.
The eye cream itself is pretty basic, it’s like a little bit runnier version of IOPE eye cream in my opinion. It sets beautifully under makeup though, but I would still prefer Honpo Sana Nameraka eye cream any day because it’s way more moisturizing under my eyes.
I don’t have any expectation towards this eye cream, to be honest. And when I saw the $18~20 price tag, I was just like “Ehh, okay”, not too affordable but not high in the price either. However, when I realized that it’s only 15ml, which is half the size of Innisfree ECO Science eye cream, I was like whattt okay, this is not a descent investment in my opinion.
Would I repurchase it? No, I don’t think so, by now, I think my preferable choice of eye cream would go like this:
Based on the ranking above, my first choice would be Innisfree one, because it is worth the money, pretty descent for moisturizing purposes. But if I want to talk about the ingredients, I would prefer the Honpo Sana Nameraka one because of the appearance of Retinol in the ingredients. Well to be frank: Sana Nameraka supposed to be my first choice, but due to the fact that it’s way easier to get Innisfree, I put the Innisfree on the first rank.
