Finally it’s the time of the year again, my collective haul and/or This time around I splurge like, a lot. I buy lots of new skin care brand that I’ve always curious to try, such as Sunday Riley, Huxley, and Pyunkang Yul. Hopefully they will work great on my skin! *finger crossed*
1.BIODERMA Sensibio Ready To Go Sensitive Kit
This set contains:
- Sensibio H2O 100ml
- Sensibio Tonique 10ml
- Sensibio Light 15ml
- Sensibio Eye 2 ml
- Photoderm Max Fluid 5ml
I initially bought this because it has the same price with regular Bioderma Sensibio H2O 100ml and since the one that I needed the most for traveling is the Sensibio H2O, I consider the sample sizes skin care as gift with purchase, lol. However, it’s pretty nice to have those samples to tested out since I’ve never tried other Bioderma product aside of the micellar water and the eye cream.
2. Innisfree The Green Tea Seed Serum
Heard lots of good things about this skin care for the past few years, though there are several arguments that this is only suitable for people under 30. Well, I’ve tested it out a bit and I have to say that the scent is not bothering me and I it’s moisturizing enough. Well, we’ll see!
3. Huxley Grab Water Essence
Huxley is one the most hyped up Korean Brand in social media lately. I can’t help but in awe everytime I see their pretty glass bottles. I decided to purchase this Grab Water Essence in expectation that it would work pretty similar like Hada Labo Light Lotion on me. But sadly, for the first week that I’m trying out this gal, I think they made my skin broke out :'(. Will try to “cocktail” it with other routine, though. So, stay tune on my full review on this. Hopefully it will ended up to be good!
4. Huxley Oil Essence Brightly Ever After
Since I’m eyeing Vitamin C for awhile, I decided to purchase this one because of the “Brightly Ever After” title. It turned out that it don’t contain any Vitamin C
(lol, more reason to have research before you purchase something). It seems like Niacinamide is the hero ingredients in this product. Since so far I don’t have any problem with Niacinamide, hopefully it would work for me! ❤
5. Pyunkang Yul Essence Toner
Another thing that I purchased because of Gothamista. Honestly, I think that this product would be expensive at first (due to the packaging!) But it turned out that this product have similar price range with COSRX. I have this feeling that it would have similar texture and effect with Hanyul Rice Essential Skin Softner.
6. Menard Beauness Spa Shower Spa Essence Lotion
One of my favorite skin care blogger raves about it. And since her loves towards Menard turned me into Menard fan as well, and usually her recommendation works out for me, I decided to give this a try since I’m running out of my COSRX Galactomyces 95 Whitening Power Essence as they both work as first essence. Hopefully it would work for me!
7. Benton Aloe BHA Skin Toner
I tend to avoid these kind of confusing hydrating yet potentially exfoliating toner. When I heard “aloe” I’m expecting a really soothing hydration. However, the appearance of BHA confuses the hell out of me. Will they reserve as both hydrating and exfoliating toner on me? Well, we shall see…
8. Menard Tsukika Lotion <Moist>
Another repurchase of this toner because I can’t afford to repurchase the Fairlucent Clear Lotion even though I’m loving it, lol. Well, I think I raved about this Tsukika Lotion <Moist> multiple time in my blog already. I love it that it give enough hydration to my skin while reserve as final step in my cleansing as well. It didn’t have any scent and colourless as well. So until I can find another cheaper replacement for this lotion, I think I will keep repurchasing this one!
9. Menard Lisciare Sample Set
I got this as GWP since I bought the Menard Tsukika on their counter (I usually bought it online). Never interested on their Lisciare line before, though. Well, we’ll see if it does something to my skin.
10. Sunday Riley Sunday School Set
This set contains:
- 1 oz/ 30 mL C.E.O. C + E Micro-Dissolve Cleansing Oil
- 0.5 oz/ 15 g C.E.O. C + E antiOXIDANT Protect + Repair Moisturizer
- 0.34 oz/ 10 mL Good Genes All-In-One Lactic Acid Treatment
- 5 mL Luna Sleeping Night Oil
Sets full of products of Sunday Riley that I really want to try! If this set also contain C.E.O. Rapid Flash Brightening Serum instead of the cleansing oil, then it would be perfect, lol. I’m glad that Sunday Riley releases these kind of sets though, since their product is just so expensive that it would make me want to cry if they don’t work out for me. So having these kinds of smalls samples is a blessing!
11. Bio-essence Shape V-Face Look Younger Set
Another sample set because I was curious about this brand yet didn’t have the gut to purchase the full price because this is a unfamiliar brand from Singapore, lol. Heard a lot of good things about their lifting cream, though. I also intrigued about their exfoliating stuff that worked similar with Cure Aqua Natural Gel!
12. My Beauty Diary Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizing Mask
I always have second thoughts with My Beauty Diary mask since my experience with their masks was always meh. Got this for GWP from Sociolla, and I honestly wouldn’t purchase this and try it myself if not for this GWP! Spoiler: This mask surprised me! But that’s for another post 😉
13. Armando Caruso Make Up Blender
Since I urgently need a new beauty blender since my original Beauty Blender suddenly growing mold (cry!) 😥 I decided to find another cheaper dupe as well. So, expect me to write a Beauty Blender Dupe post for another month or so!
Phew, I just realized that I had a lot of sample set this time around, lol. It’s a good thing that a lot of brand comes out with this concept am I right? So that we don’t need to spend more money if the product is not suitable to our skin condition ;-). Do you purchase something exciting this time around? Share with me in the comment section bellow! ❤
