Empties Report: July 2017

Another end of the month, another empties! My current empties wouldn’t surprised you if you followed me for a while because I’m pretty sure that I wrote individual post for every single product that I featured here. Without further ado, here’s my July 2017 empties!

1. Hanaichirin Oriental Tomo Sheet Mask

A so-so mask. Definitely one of those cheap and moderate sheet mask. I have nothing against it, however, I wouldn’t recommend it to you if you’re looking for extraordinary mask that would give your skin plumping effect, etc etc. However, if you are on a budget and looking for sheet mask that would give you instant hydration, go and try it by yourself!

2. Lush Bubblegum Lip Scrub

This lip scrub is just way too old that I ended up using it as body scrub, lol. As a lip scrub, sometimes I found that this lip scrub to be way too harsh for my lips. In contrary, as a body scrub, this is way too gentle for my skin! Lol. When I use it as a body scrub, this Lush Bubblegum Lip Scrub is highly moisturizing and the sugar grain is just way too small to work in my opinion. Wouldn’t repurchase it except for the lovely scent.

3. Sana Nameraka Facial Wash

Love this facial wash sooooo much that I’m beginning to think that Sana Nameraka started to have the same place in my heart together with Hada Labo as a Japanese Drugstore Brand that I love! Strangely enough, even if this has one of the highest pH that I’ve ever encounter for a while, my skin didn’t even feel dry in the slightest. Possibly because of my routine that highly concentrated in hydration. Nevertheless, would repurchase it if I have a chance in the future!

4. Tosowoong Pure Propolis Mask

Would definitely repurchase it in the future because let’s face it: My love for propolis is real. Tosowoong Pure Propolis Mask is not the best mask that I’ve tried in the recent years, but in terms of the affordability and the result, this is definitely one of my favorites. This mask give me instant hydration and really helps to combat dehydration! When most of cheap sheet mask will lose its hydration effect within an hour or so,  due to its propolis and honey ingredients, the hydration penetrate deep within your skin. Recommended!

5. Banila Co. Miss Flower & Mr. Honey Hydrogel Mask Sheet

Those rare case when I didn’t like a mask that filled with my propolis and honey. Probably because of the weird consistency on the material. The hydrogel material was a pain in the ass to put on the skin. It will slides everywhere, therefore you need to be laying down in order to use this mask. As for the essence…. I guess it was okay? it was better than Lululun but certainly below Tosowoong. But I think it will be much much better should the hydrogel material is similar with my favorite Japanese hydrogel mask. Repurchase? Maybe if Banila Co. improve the material selection.

6. SNP Bird’s Nest Aqua Ampoule Mask

One of my favorite discoveries from the Wednesday Masking series. If there’s one word to describe this mask, it would be: refreshing! I’ve encountered quite an amount of sheet mask, and a lot of them give me instant hydration and moisture, but nothing like this one. Not only refreshing, but this mask also give me enough hydration and moisture that made me can skip the essence part on my routine. On the side note, this mask also comes with a pretty affordable price! Will repurchase for sure!

7. Trilogy Certified Organic Rosehip Oil

This is such a game-changer in my routine! I am blessed that I have this Trilogy Certified Organic Rosehip Oil as my first oil. I’ve heard a lot of raves around beauty oil and I’m glad that I finally include it in my routine. This Trilogy Rosehip Oil did a lot to my skin. It definitely help me to reduce and prevent blemishes in my skin while balanced my dehydrated skin. Loveeee this one and definitely will repurchase it in the future! One of my Holy Grail list!

8. It’s Skin Power 10 Formula CO Effector

Well, I still have the same opinion towards all of It’s Skin Power 10 range: This is a beginner-friendly serum that would easily incorporated with your routines and have a very little chance to irritate your skin. Despite the different title, for me personally, I found that they are pretty similar in consistency with each other, just a slight, sliiiight difference. And this CO Effector comes with lighter consistency rather than the Propolis one and thicker rather than the VC one.

9. Shiseido Senka Perfect Double Wash

Strangely enough, I prefer this one rather than the original Perfect Whip. However, of course that I found it to be more drying rather than the Sana Nameraka Facial Wash. Supposed to be similar with Laneige Multi Cleanser, this Shiseido Senka Perfect Double Wash supposed to remove both of your makeup and skin. But as I’ve never skip double cleansing for the last one year or so, I can’t say much on that department. But I found it to be decent as a facial wash. Won’t repurchase it because I’ve got much better option out there.

10. Dr. Jart+ Calm Your Sensitive Skin Sheet Mask

This mask is certainly average in everything. With Hana Ichirin, I can say that it worth the price because they are usually come free together with hotel amenities or very cheap, but not with this one. The effect and the whole material of the sheet mask is just so average that you better save your money and go buy Innisfree and Etude House sheet mask instead. I personally prefer to make DIY sheet mask with Hatumogi instead.

So yeah, that’s my opinion of my empties this July. Do you spot any favorites here? Please do not hesitate to share it with me in the comment section bellow! 😉
