Wednesday Masking is backkk with another sheet mask today: SNP Bird’s Nest Aqua Ampoule. SNP mask is one of the most best-selling sheet mask brand in South Korea, together with Mediheal and Leaders. Like other Korean sheet mask, SNP also have a lot of selection, including Animal Pattern Mask, Black Pearl Renew Black Ampoule Mask, Charcoal Mineral Black Ampoule Mask, and this SNP Bird’s Nest Aqua Ampoule Mask.
As I have a relatively dry skin, of course this SNP Bird’s Nest Aqua Ampoule Mask is the one that appeals to me the most. Korean always love to experiment with their skin care ingredients, aren’t they? After the famous and intriguing snails and propolis, they did it again with another questionable but potentially beneficial ingredients: Bird’s Nest.
This intensive skin care ampoule mask balances the skin’s moisture levels while also supplying an abundant amount of nutrients to the skin. This mainly contains 1000mg extract of swiftlet nest that is known for its rich nutritional content. It moisturizes the skin while also leaving a protection barrier to protect the skin against further damage caused by the environment’s harmful elements. This mask also helps the skin recover from damage faster.
After cleansing your face, tone skin and apply the mask to the face evenly centering around the eyes and the mouth. Leave on 10 to 20 minutes, and peel the mask from the face. Pat gently any remaining essence into skin.
Water, glycerin, swiftlet nest extract (1,000mg), alcohol, hydroxyethylcellulose, polysorbate 80, betaine, centella asiatica extract, hamamelis virginiana (witch hazel) extract. camellia sinensis leaf extract. anthemis nobilis flower extract, ceramide 3, sodium hyaluronate, carbomer, triethanolamine, disodium edta, phenoxyethanol, flavor.
For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. Keep out of reach of children. Discontinue use if signs of irritation and/or rash appear.
This is probably one of my favorite sheet mask in a while!!!! Love it! At first it gives me this cold feels that soothes my skin after a tiring day (probably also due to the fact that I keep it in air conditioned room, though), but this cold feels lasted for quite a while. After 20 minutes, the mask was still pretty wet with the essence (signs of a pretty good mask, IMHO). And the good news is, my skin feels plump and well hydrated without being greasy and heavy! Love it!
I didn’t notice any scent and colouring in this mask, which I highly appreciate. I feel like the effect of this Bird’s Nest mask is pretty similar with Hyaluronic Acid on my skin. And if you love Hyaluronic Acid like me, do give this mask a try! Moreover this mask comes with a affordable price, at around $2, depends on where you buy it. Will I repurchase it? Definitely!
