I love Japanese eyeliners. I have huge trust towards them because most of the best long wearing and waterproof eyeliner that I know come from Japanese market, and more often than not, a lot of famous non-Japanese eyeliner, like say, Marc Jacobs Magic Marc’er Precision Pen or CLIO Waterproof Pen Liner were formulated in Japan. And the most important thing is, a lot of Japanese eyeliner just works. It rarely disappoint me, well, maybe except this one, but nonetheless, I love most of them!
And after I tried the K-Pallette 1 Day Tattoo Real Lasting Eyeliner in Black Brown with super cute Alice in Wonderland‘s Limited Edition packaging, this time I decided to open the Super Black one, that comes with good value packaging, the brush liner and the pencil eyeliner for just ¥1500!
I bought this one because I initially wanted to try K-Pallette’s pencil eyeliner, because I’ve heard a lot of good things about them. However, I couldn’t find the one that come with individual packaging. So, when I saw this value packaging on DonKi, I grabbed one without thinking further because not just it comes with good value, I just realized that I’ve never tried the Super Black shade. On the plus side, it comes with gorgeous red packaging. Sooo, to the basket it goes. 😛
I’m already familiar with the brush applicator, it comes with a little bit spongy brush applicator that makes the application easier and smoother. I think even beginner would love this applicator, because I personally think that it’s easier to control especially if you want a precise look. Not to mention, the formulation of this eyeliner is lightweight and quick dry, so, you can definitely avoid mishaps with this eyeliner.
For the pencil one, it comes with auto-rotate applicator, so, no need to sharpen it every after use! I think it has decent formulation. It’s not that hard that will eventually hurt your eyes when you draw your eyeliner, and it’s not way too creamy that will make your eyeliner smudges everywhere after a long day. However, because my waterline is just helpless and I’ve come to a point where I think none of pencil eyeliner will stay put on my upper waterline, it does transfer to my lower waterline after a long day. But, it’s nothing horrible, way more acceptable than other pencil eyeliner in the market, and it’s easy to fix during touch up seasons.
Here’s the comparison of K-Pallette 1 Day Tattoo Real Lasting Eyeliner in Black Brown and Super Black. I believe that this Super Black shade is one of my blackest eyeliner in my vanity. Haven’t compare it to my other eyeliner, though. But I think I’ve never owned something that comes with this kind of shade, yet.
I know that a lot of people love super black eyeliner, but for my personal preferences, I prefer the formulation, comfort, applicator, and the longevity instead of the shade. Because I think every shades is beautiful on its own way, lol.. But seriously, I even play with pink and aqua eyeliners in the past :-P.
But, if you want the blackest black of black eyeliner, you should try this eyeliner. Especially when the formulation and the longevity is one of the best in Japanese drugstore. Plus, it comes with affordable price, too! Not to mention, they’ve always comes with either value packaging, or limited edition packaging these days.
If I’m still in Japan, I would hoard those Disney Princess packaging, lol.
