Journey to Find the Perfect First Cleanser: Banila Co’s Clean It Zero Purity

The title is totally referring to my personal preferences of first cleanser; because as you can read here or here, I’m totally struggling to find the perfect first cleanser for me. 😥 So, after a few trial and errors, I’m thinking to myself wether maybe oil cleanser is not for me. Because, seriously, I’ve tried maybe 4-5 different oil cleansers and it seems that none suit my skin perfectly. So, after a long consideration, I finally picked up this Banila Clean It Zero in Purity.

I’ve tried the original Clean It Zero way back in 2014. I bought several items from Banila Co. and the BA kindly gave me a few of samples, including the sample of the original Clean It Zero. I know that this line is probably the best selling item from Banila Co. But, I’m not into skin care two years ago, let alone understanding the concept of double cleansing . I just thought that it was a great makeup remover, it removes any waterproof makeup, but sadly it made my eyes blurry after uses, hence the reason why I decided to purchase the “Purity” one this time.

The Banila Co. Clean It Zero Purity have this sorbet texture that melted right away after we rubbed it into the skin, as you can see in the second picture above. Bear in mind that I use super matte and waterproof lipstick, liners, and eyebrow products as the example of how well this product remove any traces of makeup.

I looooove the texture and the overall feeling of this Banila Co. Clean It Zero Purity. My skin doesn’t feel as greasy if I compare it to oil cleansers. And so far, maybe for two or three weeks, Thank God, it seems to work pretty well for my skin. Now, I understand why everyone in K-beauty community raved about this particular product. Would I recommend it to anyone? Definitely! Is it the perfect first cleanser for me? Well, I hope so! Let’s see if it still perform as well in a few weeks 😉
