As I’ve said before, I’ve always wanted to try more Korean Med-High End Roadshop Brand such as VDL and Espoir. So, after researching here and there about Espoir products, I finally bought my first Espoir product which is the ESPOIR Pro Tailor Liquid Foundation EX SPF25 PA++.
When Bambigirl said that it is as good as Lancome Teint Miracle which is one of her Holy Grail foundation, I’m definitely put it on my wish list, lol. But, because I’ve never try the Lancome foundation, I couldn’t say much if her words is true or not.
The foundation has watery texture but not as watery as Make Up For Ever Face & Body Foundation. I would say that it has the consistency between MUFE Face & Body Foundation and Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation. So it’s watery but it’s not that watery, but it’s not that thick either, if that’s makes sense.
The coverage is sheer to medium. The finish reminds me a lot of MUFE Face & Body Foundation. It’s somehow makes your skin looks healthier. However, in comparison to MUFE Face & Body Foundation, ESPOIR Pro Tailor Liquid Foundation EX has a little more coverage even if it’s not enough to cover up any major discoloration and acne scars.
I choose shade #Y404 Tan Light for my NC20-25 skin tone because I would never believe the Korean version of “Tan” LOL. Just look at the picture above! See, that shade is that light for “Tan” shade. But Thank God that it looked blended well with my skin tone after I applied it with sponge :-).
As for the moisturizing formula, I would say that during the time whenever I use this foundation I’ve never feel my skin feeling dry and tight during the mid-day. So, this foundation surely is dry skin friendly! Well, all in all I would give this foundation 4/5 because I love the formula and the finish reminds me a lot of MUFE Face & Body Foundation with better coverage but without the steep price. 😉
