“Which drop does your skin need today?”
I have to say that the marketing gimmick of It’s Skin Power 10 Formula is quite interesting. They have a wide range of products, different vitamins on each bottles, cute colourful glass bottles, budget friendly prices, not to mention a quite big size for the price (30ml!).
So, this is my first review of the overwhelming range of It’s Skin Power 10 that I hauled last month. I don’t review them all at the same time because I need at least 2 weeks to try out new skin care products, and it will be take a long time if I want to review them all as I purchased 5 of them. So, if you want to know my final verdict of the It’s Skin Power 10 Line, you can wait until I write the review for the PO, CO, and VC Effector.
At first, I honestly have no expectation whatsoever towards these products because I just wanted to extend my skin care routines and try out serum products.
One thing that I’m impressed the most with the It’s Skin Power 10 products that I’ve tried so far is the fact that they didn’t broke out my skin even from the first use. Especially when I have ultra sensitive skin that always have a purging phase when I’m changing up my routines even if I rotate my beloved Menard Tsukika Lotion Moist to my holy grail SK-II Clear Lotion, which I equally love by the way.
It’s Skin Power 10 Formula Propolis
Ingredients: Honey Extract, Propolis Extract, Butylene Glycol, Glycereth-26, Glycerin, Sodium Hyaluronate, Niacinamide, Sea Water, Neopentyl Glycol Diheptanoate, Caprylyl Glycol, Rosa Centifolia Flower Extract, Bellis Perennis (daisy) Flower Extract, Freesia Refracta Extract, Ethylhexylglycerin, Hydroxyethyl Acrylate/sodium Acryloyldimethyl Taurate Copolymer, Peg-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Carbomer, Triethanolamine, Peg-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Ppg-26-buteth-26, Fragrance, Xanthan Gum, Disodium Edta.
One of the best selling products from the range. Korean tend to have a lot of innovations and intriguing ingredients with their beauty products—snail mucus, bee venom, and starfish extract to name a few. Propolis itself is bee glue that supposedly have a lot of health benefits and good for sensitive skin, hence the reason why I want to try Propolis product in the first place.
It has a thick, sticky formula that smells a lot like honey (I don’t know if it’s natural or not since they have fragrance in the ingredients list, but they smell descent and I’m not disturbed by it, so… yeah). Since I have dry-combination dehydrated skin, I love how moisturising this product is and how they help to plump up my skin. In conclusion, I am satisfied enough with this product that I want to try another range of It’s Skin Power 10 Formula.
It’s Skin Power 10 Formula VE Effector
Ingredients: Water, Rosa Centifolia Flower Water, Butylene Glycol, Polyglutamic Acid, Centella Asiatica Extract, Vanilla Planifolia Fruit Extract, Cyclopentasiloxane, Dipropylene Glycol, Cetyl Ethylhexanoate, Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil, Ethyl Hexanediol, Stearic Acid, Dimethicone/Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Carbomer, Triethanolamine, Vegetable Oil, Ethylhexylglycerin, Dimethicone, Phenyl Trimethicone, Tocopheryl Acetate, Disodium Edta
My first impression towards VE Effector was totally meh. I even thought that the product that I had was expired because it has weird gunky white particles and much more watery and thinner consistency compared to the Propolis one. But after I did my research, I found that the VE Effector do have that white particles all along. Glad that I don’t recieved expired products, though, lol.
After I was totally satisfied with my experience with Power 10 Formula Propolis, of course I have a quite expectation towards VE Effector. But, even though within the first uses I thought that this product was just “okay”, after few days I definitely feel that this product give me extra nutrients when my skin need it. After two weeks, I found that the VE Effector quite enjoyable and give me that extra something in my routines.
So, all in all, I feel like they are such a descent serum despite the cheap price. Will I repurchase them? Maybe the Propolis one. But because there are always new interesting products in the market and I know that there are better Propolis products out there that I want to try in the future, probably not.
