Hydration for the Drier Days

Well, I should post this earlier, because most of these products help me a lot through the fasting month, which is one of the most drying days according to me. But, since I have one addition of product after fasting days that I found totally good, here my mini review and suggestion if you want to have extra hydration through out the days;

Menard Tsukika Lotion Moist

If you follow me long enough, you must be already know how difficult for me to find the replacement for my beloved yet so pricey SK-II Clear Lotion. But, since I always have good experience with Japanese skin care products and I see that a lot of beauty enthusiast raved over Menard, I decided to try one of its cheapest product.

No, I didn’t see significant results from the first try, in fact, I have a few breakout that made me hesitant to continue to use it within the first week. But, when the fasting month came, I decided to try it again, and I could see how my dehydrated skin loves it! It has ~the higher end texture~ if you compare it to Hada Labo Gokyujun Light Lotion, and will definitely help if your face always feel tight in the mid-day, especially if you use it alongside sheet mask before make up.

LuLuLun Fresh Clear Mask

LuLuLun is highly raved amongst Japanese, the brand even got featured in Vogue, Allure, and other fashion magazines. If you already familiar with the idea to wear sheet mask everyday for a better skin, this mask offer the same concept. There are surely endless debate wether it is good or not to wear sheet mask everyday, but I am obviously intrigued to try this mask, especially since LuLuLun has pretty affordable price, though if you have hygiene concern, maybe you will find the packaging horrifying.

Generally I found that this product was okay; LuLuLun has typical sheet mask formula. But it does help to hydrate your skin from within, especially if you often have dry patches.

Mediheal P.D.F Sheet Mask LINE Friends Edition

I’ve already try two kind of Mediheal mask and they both work wonderfully!!!! I definitely understand why this particular brand have the highest selling masks in South Korea. The essence is milky and thick, dry and combination skin would be definitely love to try this product. They have a lot range of product for different skin concern, so you might find something that suit your preferences.

Foreo Luna for Sensitive/Normal Skin

Well, I already had this product for a year now; but because I had horrible dehydrated, over exfoliated, and flaky skin last year, I decided to stop using Foreo Luna (and other exfoliate products and tools) because I’m afraid that my skin will get even more over-exfoliated.

However, since this cleaning tools is pricey as hell, I decided to give it a try again. I used it occasionally  started from March 2016, maybe 2-3 times a week, and for the last two weeks I used it once a day. I am contemplating wether I still need to have double cleansing whenever I use this product in the days that I only wear sunscreen and no makeup. So, I am still experimenting to use oil cleanser prior to second cleanse with Foreo Luna.

It’s Skin Power 10 Formula Propolis

If you follow a lot of K-beauty enthusiast and a lot of Korean blogger you must be know about Propolis ingredients. As weird as other ingredients that Korean loves to experiment with (i.e: snail, gold, donkey milk, etc), the bee’s glue and/or penicillin seems to work for a lot of people, especially the CNP Laboratory Propolis Energy Ampule.

But, since it is pretty difficult to get CNP Laboratory products here in my country, the price is pretty high, and I am not sure if the ingredients suitable for my sensitive skin; I decided to get the cheapest propolis serum that I could find: It’s Skin Power 10 Formula Propolis. I was lucky enough that Althea sold this product at a steep price back then, lol. I got it only for $7-$8, and I was shocked that the bottle is bigger than I expected lololol.

Aaaand it turned out that the serum is really really good!!!! I highly highly recommend it to anyone that want to have extra moisture for their skin. This is my first serum ever, and based on trying this particular product alone, it made me want to try the other product from It’s Skin Power 10. My skin feels bouncy and hydrated whenever I use this serum, it doesn’t break me out, and once again, I really recommend it for anyone who want to jump into skin care routine and want to have their first serum.

Innisfree Eco Beauty Tool Blackhead Dual Cleaner

Do you have that stubborn blackhead that never get removed even if you use the mightiest pore pack??? I introduce you the Innisfree Eco Beauty Tool Blackhead Dual Cleaner (what a lengthy name…). It is similar with comedone extractor, I guess, but maybe a little bit gentler(??). I couldn’t compare it, though, because it’s been a long time since I had my blackhead extracted with professional. But one thing for sure, this thing is definitely work for sure!!!! Unlike regular comedone extractor, Innisfree Blackhead Dual Cleaner has two sides, one side that have similar rubbery texture with Foreo Luna, and the other is the extractor side. If you really want to know more about this tools, you need to read this blog, because her post was the only thing that convinced me to buy this tools, lololol.

Well, this is some addition to my skin care routine that definitely help me a lot these days, do you have recommendation? Or do I need to make a separate post about particular product? Let me know in the comment section bellow :-).

Stay hydrate,

xx
